Designing an immersive experience

I crafted the complete user experience from the ground up, focusing on creating an atmosphere that mirrors the tactile quality of the acoustic materials themselves. The interface breathes with purposeful micro-interactions and buttery-smooth transitions that make every click feel intentional and satisfying.

Animations were choreographed to feel effortless rather than flashy. Elements glide into view with natural easing, hover states reveal depth through subtle shadow shifts, and page transitions maintain spatial continuity, giving users a sense of moving through a cohesive space rather than jumping between screens.

Sample ordering system

A key feature of the platform is the custom sample ordering system. Customers can request acoustic material samples based on their postcode, with orders automatically routed to the appropriate regional supplier. Different postcode ranges correspond to different suppliers, ensuring efficient logistics and delivery.

Technical implementation

I built a SendGrid integration for transactional emails, handling order confirmations and supplier notifications. The full-stack approach allowed for a cohesive user experience from the portfolio showcase through to the order completion flow.
